Christini goes working Day 3

So, first of all I have to say, its really hard to eat 3 Meals a day, when you are always on the run !
The last two days I went working at Kaisers :
 friday -6 pm till 10 pm
and saturday - 5 pm till 10 pm,
SO my last meal was at 5 pm and 4 pm.

All in all I have to say, that These time gaps are extremely hard for me
I think "you can´t eat later, but still not hungry now,
you must eat now, because you won´t get anything later   !"
This is a Problem. I Train my mind and Body to think, that, he needs Food now, because later will be no nutritions given to. *knows that this is wrong

So what did I eat ?
In the morning I had 150 gram Cottage cheese and one apple, - coffe with soya milk : D

later two bananas (as a Snack )

at 1 p m I had steamed princess beans, Broccoli and 1 egg

at 4 p m half of an Avocado, wild salmon and cucumber.




yeah and when I came home, 10.30 p. m.
I had a table spoon of cashewmus, to reduce my blood sugar and stop craving for Food,

AGAINST MY OWN RULES,

but as I said, I have to control my Body more with my mind!
 
 




 

Christini goes sick Day 4

What a pitty : /

My neck feels bloody and hurts, I don´t taste anything and I feel weak.
Haven´t been visiting my Crossfit box for 4 days already , I feel something is missing.
But I went jogging, did my burpees and walked a lot. ( Really not comparable to a WOD )

What did I eat today ?

For breakfast I had the oatmeal Snack from "alles vegetarisch"and 3 apricots with one tea spoon cashewmus on them.
For dinner I had wild salmon, smashed Avocado, cucumber and an egg, made as a salad and a coffe with soya milk.
My Snack was one of those Cliff bars, because I felt so weak and needed some sweet shit : P
At 3 p.m some relatives visited me, to celebrate my graduation. I visited 12 classes in germany and have now the "Abitur." This is the highest form of finishing school.
I am not a friend of material presents, so my mother ordered a beautiful cake for me.
For sure, it is full of sugar, grains and even more sugar, so that I was not able to eat it.
But no Problem, my mum was not angry ( because I never really loved ´those sweet candie things) and tough I don´t feel / felt craving this cake .



My last meel was at 7 p.m. when my family was leaving. I Had  2 eggs and a paprika, also some watermelon.
My day ended, with a 4 km walk  .!

Sugar? Nooo way!!!!!

Whole30 challenge left some influence on my everyday life, but I never thought that all products that has some sugar will be toooo sweeeeeet (!!!) for me. And that it will make me feel sick.



My weekend started with Spree CrossFit team challenge and, as it was a really stressfull day for me, at least I was totally scared from WODs, I started my day with some special breakfast. No, not for normal athletes - with bakon and eggs - but with some strawberry, banana and coconut cream crisps. So amazing delicious and so much sugar for the energy.

Yes, this is fruit sugar that I can eat. Why only this? So, there is some interesting point about this challenge. 
I like that we are doing different kind of eating challenge style and have our rules, but... But!!!! I hate to see some really delicious food pictures (also chocolate counts) while I am fighting against sugar intake.
So... After our team challenge on Saturday and hard work time, I decided to make some nice evening with friend of mine and visit some almost Paleo and Vegan bistro. Why almost Paleo? Because they use Agave Sugar and Cashews that are not really Paleo....

We get our order - I took some smoothie with cacao, almonds, coconut rise milk (yes, it is not Paleo!) and some brownie (totally un-Paleo!) with almond flour, agave, dates and cacao and I think that also with cashews.



After my first try, I get that point where I could start to scream because I felt as not normal person.... I wanted to enjoy that delicious cake and smoothie, but instead of feeling good, I noticed that everything has to much sugar, that everything is to sweet and it taste not so good as before. The worst part was after I ate it and went back home... I still felt as I ate something that was not healthy (although it was better as normal cake) and my stomach noticed that. I thought that I will puke.

Conclusion? No Sugar, Baby! No Sugar at all....

PS: Ouh, yeh, as my challenge mate Kristian is posting his weight, I need to share that my weight is 70,8kg (actually I lost almost 2kg during my whole30). Lets see how it will change in 60 Days.




Kristiyan Day 5 : Go WOD or go home

Today I made my third WOD, of course I haven't succeeded 100%, but at least I tried, and will try again and again..
So here is my meal plan for today shortly:

It was a normal omlete with 3 eggs to gain some protein :)

I ate a lunch for both today, it was really delicious and healthy (Rice + Chicken + Green Veggies)

Polona Day 5 It`s sunday

And I have the whole day to be motivated to do nothing. I did get some training done however.

What I ate today was pretty much carbivore style:

B: 3 brötchen aka. breadrolls with butter and Slovenian honey
S: nuts & 2 bananas
TRAINING at CrossFit Spree: oly class
PW: whey & Ben & Jerry icecream
L: turkey + spätzle+salad, dark chocolate (one line)
S: nuts again
D: bread + salami


Christini goes vegetarian Day 2

This post is not going to be about the Food I had like grated(geraspelt) cucumber apple salad or millet (Hirse) with Quark and apple puree
This will be about my order at "Alles Vegetarisch " : D " Everythings vegetarian", which arrived on Thursday( this post here is for friday =) )
One day a Girl asked me " You are a consumer , aren´t you? "- because I was so existed about my monthly arriving Glossy box ( 5 expensive Beauty articles, from brand products, for a low Price )


 
 
I said, no I´m not, I just feel very happy when the postman is ringing at the door and has something special for me, its like a little birthday Party every month :D


So it was, when the box from "alles vegetarisch " arrived.
What was inside ? 
First of all- I have to admit,  I´m still careful off consuming grains and milk products after the paleo challenge ! But also I noticed, that if I eat daily one small Portion of whole grains, it won´t kill me, but gives me the power to stay fit on my WOD at Crossfit.
I bought puffed whole grain Quinoa.  Cliff bars, - mostly made out off Brown Rice syrup, oats and nuts = WiTH CAUTiON TO ENJOY
Banana Bread- Oats and dried  Bananas are the main ingredients - and I had it for Breakfast today =D, plus some Quark for my  rule " Protein plus fruit "
The Oat Snack, is mostly made out of..............OATS :D and paranuts*best nuts in the wooooooorld
Next to the puffed Quinoa, you see dinkle milk, I don´t know yet for what I will use this, but I will find something =)
I always saw People Blogging "coconut mus", already convinced of the benefits and the taste from coconut oil, I said to myself, okay lets try this !!
Its like the oil- very hard, but if you put it for some seconds in the microwave, it gets very soft and inside are some coconut rasps
Coconut flour is gluten free and has the highest dietary fiber among all the Flours. 40 gram fiber in 100 gram flour. So next to the health benefits, it gives food a caribbean flavour. !
Mandelmus and Cashewmus is the most amazing stuff EVER, its better than every snickers, ice cream, chocolate and so on !
I will use one tea spoon as a topping  for banana pancakes ( one smashed banana and one egg) =  my personal BEST, MOST delicious Breakfast ever !
Protein, fruit = Carbs and a Little bit fat. yummy *-*
Mulberries  are a new dried fruit for me, but I saw it posting from a fit chick on her blog as a superfood in her morning meal, I´ll give it a try ; )
Last but not least, lots of People who tried to eat vegan, use the spice Kala Namak. It is smoked salt and gives for example Tofu an eggy flavour.
I dont´t mind,  I use it, because it has a smoked flavour <3 !
AS a gift I got some boring coffe whitener. You can see it above the Cashewmus , "GRÜSSE" is written on it. I don´t need it, but my mum will use it.

Kristiyan Day 4 : Freestyle healthy day

Today is not a special day at all when it comes to my diet, though my lunch has some more fat (because of the mayonnaise) in it, I am still in calorie deficit. So here is the plan for today in short:

Meal #1 (Breakfast) :

Today it is some chicken breasts + potato puree + some asian vegetables, really delicious, mmmm! And a selfie of the food :

Because I really haven't reached my calories limit today, I allowed myself to make a mayonnaise salad with some carrots and cabbage. It was super delicious though!

Polona day 4: no beer in the fridge

I went for a 10k run yesterday and it felt so good. Well except my app Strava, which didn`t work again and claimed I only ran 7k. Not true. I craved a beer so much during the whole workout and when I came back home, of course my fridge was empty. My best ever flat mate Sophia made my dream come true and brought me one from the “Spätkauf” downstairs.

I also found this Milka which is simpley amazing. Salt+sweet = wow! 




How I eat?

When I say I eat everything I mean I eat everything. But I don`t stuff myself. I eat until I am like 80-90 % full. This keeps me feeling good and comfortable throughout the day. I eat candies every day, but I also eat meat, veggies, fruit, whey, eggs, nuts ... every day. You see, I literally eat everything, because I don`t put myself down by saying “You are not allowed to eat that”.

So yesterday my dinner was only beer and whey. I love whey. It helps me add protein to my daily menu and saves me from eating meat the whole day. I woke up really rested this morning, so I guess that cool combination worked.

The lunch today was crispy fish fillet, but baked on baking paper without any use of oil. With some salad. I have been eating like that for 2 years and it keeps my attitude towards my body and my food relaxed, fun and life-long. All that time I have been slowly transforming my body with friends saying “oh you lost so much weight”. I don`t know, because I don`t weight myself. It`s a number without a meaning. 


So this challenge it`s so fun. I will (hopefully) show you, you can eat everything (again everything doesn`t mean stuffing yourself with food) and still change your body. But it doesn`t work if you don`t relax first: keep calm and work on your mental well-being/satisfaction from enjoying life. 

Our CrossFit Spree box was full today and Ilze - paleo girl did some crozzfittin` competin`.

Hungry game

If harder I go on my WOD, then less hungry I am. Actually I can not eat at all. Basically it is wrong, because my body need to have some proteins, but in stead of that I am able only give some Amino Acids and vitamins. Furthermore on the next day he is asking more as usual.



I had on Wednesday two WODs. First was a short metcon ->
50-40-30-20-10
Kettlebel Swings (24kg)
Sit ups
and than came the Partner Wod (see in the photo).

9min metcon and after it 35min hard core workout made me feel great, but also totally exousted. It is normal for me, if after so much 'Fitness' I am only thinking about getting in my bed and sleep. Furthermore, already two weeks after partner WOD I can not even think about eating something. Also banana and fruit sugar is something that makes me feel like I will puke if I will eat something like that.

Day after Wednesday is always a little bit hard and it is not because of my muscle sournes, but also for my eating. What did I had in my meal plan?
- Breakfast: Tuna salads (huge portion) + two bananas + one apple
- Brunch: Fruit salads with coconut cream (huge portion)
- Dinner: Schawarma (meat with salads)
- Late meal (omg, it is for the first time at 10pm evening!!!): Fruit salads.

Maybe my mind and body get prepered for Team Challenge on Weekend? He tries to eat and sleap as much as he can, because on Saturday I will be in the team with 9 man and 1 girl competing against weightlifting team or at least he tries to consume all calories that he lost on Wednesday.

My plan is to keep on the rules and not eat 12 hours. Well, it mean, not eat before 10am, but I can not do it. I feel totaly without power and strenght and I think that I need to eat more. Maybe even try to eat more meat instead of fish? On the other hand, it is question about my time and ability to prepare my food. My problem for now is my time and too much stress abut my challenge on weekend.

Todays plan includes food ->
- Tuna salads for breakfast, because it is easy to prepare it for my work,
- dinner nap, because I need to work tonight, in case if I will not call my college and ask if she can work,
-  some 6 hour sleep and then getting ready for the challenge.

Christini goes adult: Day 1





Yesterday I officialy finished school and got my a -Levels.
We had a evening similar to "Prom" and I drank so much alcohol. !
I came back at 6 o ´clock a.m.
Thats why I started 2 days later then the others with the challenge :p

Meal one :I already ( 9 a.m.)  had  two slices of flaxseed bread with ham and one banana



Meal two: For lunch  (1.30 p.m) I had a fruitsalad ( strawberry, cherry, apple, peach  with Quark (is this the real english Translation for Magerquark?)

Meal three: will be green - stewed princess beans, broccoli and fish

Snack: nuts or an apple ? or a nice Cup of coffe with 2-3 dates <3

So the Problem today, in consideration to my rule "no Food after 8 pm , or before 8 am is, that I start working at 6 o ´clock pm  and I probably will not be able to eat my third meal, only a snack, so that I eat it tomorow morning ? hm lets see... (Problems, other People dont have XD )

Kristiyan Day 3 : Muscle Building

Today is an important day because my protein (BSN Syntha-6) has come, together with some protein bars. This will change my nutrition plan a little bit, because I will drink protein before/after workout. The protein bars are for the second and fourth meal of the day together with some fruits.
Here is my plan for today:

Polona day 2: the Rules

Most of my days are like that; leave home at 8.15, come back at 21.30. So yes, my whole day is on the run, that's why all my rules are about slowing down (stoping my ususal rush), turn off my mind and take the rest my body needs.

The 5 rules I will be following in the next 60 days.

1. Not eating in restaurants.
2. Daily 10-minute meditation.
3. Eat breakfast every day.
4. No computer between 22.30 and 6.00.
5. 3 Liters of water every day

Breakfast today was sweet.

Breakfast: Eggs with two bananas & vanilla. BIG coffe.



Food at work: smashed pork with Spätzele & some veggies.


Yeah the whole office smells like my lunch now. The comment I got from my boss "You have 5 hungry males around you".

I am working until 18.00, then I'm off to Olympic weightlfiting training. Before that I will have some chocolate, milchreis and stuff like that.

Christini Goes Fit : Introducing

Hello Hello !




I am Christine, 19 years old and I´ve decided in february to start with Crossfit.
My main goal when I started, was loosing weight,
 my goal now is to become the fittest version of myself!
Actually I´ve noticed, that "hunger" was not a feeling anymore,
 it was ( and still is) a way from my body to scream "Hey Christine, give me some nice food, help me to get stronger, fitter and sexier :D "! I did in may the whole30 challenge and noticed some amazing results.
 I dont know how much weight I´ve lost, but my mental and physical feeling became SO MUCH BETTER.
For this challenge,
I´ve decided to do CLEAN EATING.The consuming level of carbohydrates will be reduced, I feel better with less bread (!),  oats (T_T), yam and so on.

So here we go with my rules for the following 60 days :

1. three meals a day, plus one snack
2. each meal has to consist  of protein and  fruits/ veggies ; snack are nuts/ dried fruits
3. no food after 8.00 p.m. and nothing before 8.00 a.m. 

4. no coffe to go (spend every day 1- 2 euro ) 
5. 40 burpees each day = ) 



Changing the look of a human body needs time and discipline,
will I be able to look more in shape and reduce my weight ?

P.S. Also my english skillz will improve, I am confident about it :p

Kristiyan Day 2: Go Hard or Go Home

Here it is, the second day, I nearly lost 1 kilo weight (around 50% is just water), because yesterday's crossfit training was for beasts :)
So my meal plan for today is really simple, I haven't cooked any breakfast, just lunch.

Meal #1 (Breakfast)

My breakfast today is a healthy sandwich from the store with some lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber and some "smoked" ham. It looks like this:

Today it will be just some nuts like pistachios :)

My lunch is pretty healthy today and is similar to the one yesterday :) (Rice + Green Beans + Mushrooms + Ham)

Time to say "Hello!" with some rules

Paleo, Crossfit and Challenges is my everyday. I have my reasons why I am participating in this challenge and what I want to get out of it. 




Firstly, I did my Whole30 Challenge (more about it on BoxRox) and get some good results. I did not lost my weight (well, I was already doing Paleo and did not changed my meal plan so crazy!!!), but I get stronger, faster and reduced my body fat more as 8%. That was my biggest achievement.

Secondly, I am doing Crossfit. Not one or two times in a weak, but almost every day. And yes, I am building some muscles and working on my body look.

Thirdly, You would probably ask me why I am on this challenge, if I am eating so healthy and doing sport. Well, lets see. ->

  • I want to have fun with my friends and they will keep me going.
  • I want to progress in Crossfit and in my everyday life.
  • I want to reduce my body fat and get lean - that is probably the most important thing for me (!).
How I will do it? Well, if it will work out, then it will be only because of my 
  • Paleo Diet
  • Crossfit routine 
  • light fasting - 12 hours without eating
  • skipping coffee, nuts and paleo junk food (all baked paleo goods)
  • trying get 8 hours sleep
  • drinking 3-4 L of water every day
To be honest, I will probably have my cheat day. And you will get information about it!

But for now ->

3-2-1 GO!

Freeride: eating everything

I belive you don`t need diets or cutting food off your menu. You just need to listen to your body; how full it is, what is it craving, what food do you like ... erc. I love candies and I will eat them.

My goal: to show you, you can transform your body by eating everything you want. It's all about listening.

The only thing I won't be doing is eating at the restaurants. Simply because it is too expensive and because it feed my laziness.

Today's lunch at work:
chicken, turkish bread or how do you call it, green peppers, some cheese and pesto.


I work a lot so all the meals will be adjusted to that.

Kristiyan Day 1: The Forbidden Juice

Today is the first day of the challenge and for me personally, it started with a bit unpleasant way. Why? Because one of my rules says : "no carbonated drinks and juices". Even natural juices made at home from oranges are not allowed! This morning when I woke up, I went to the fridge first and saw the might juice I wanted to drink so much... but ... I resisted! After that I started cooking and here is the plan for today:

Meal #1 (Breakfast)

3 Scrambled Eggs + ~150gr Ham

It's just a banana for now, but I will improve this meal in the next few days.

Meal #3 (Lunch)

The main meal for today - lunch is the classic healthy rice with some mushrooms, carrot and ham. It doesn't look bad, tastes even better and is really healthy! Here is a picture of it:

It's a banana again :) 

Meal #5 (Dinner)

The dinner should be light, healthy, without much calories, because the human body consums least calories at the end of the day. So that's why I am gonna eat a normal healthy salad with 2 boiled eggs.
